VINTAGE Two-Strand West German Orange and Cream Colored Lucite, Art Glass, and Plastic Bead Necklace | Fabulous Summer and Spring Accessory
This delightful mid-century necklace was made in West Germany, and both the clasp and style of signature suggest it dates to the 1950s or early 60s.
The necklace comprises two strands of variously shaped orange-tone Lucite, plastic, and art glass beads including faceted ones as well as large sand-finished beads in orange and cream swirls, while other beads have small filigree end caps. Small, round faux-pearl spacer beads are set between each of the larger beads, while the round decorative box clasp is adorned with beads.
In very good vintage condition, with only minimal signs of wear, this is a beautiful and uplifting piece of jewelry that will make a versatile accessory — especially for spring and summer wear.
