Vintage WEST GERMAN 18" Triple-Strand Dark and Light Blue Faceted Crystal Necklace with Matching Clip Earrings | 1950s | Free Box & Gift Tag
Wow! This is a divine and delicate two-shade, three-strand faceted crystal necklace with matching round, hand-wired, clip-on earrings. Each strand of the necklace is comprised of dark blue flat rectangular faceted crystals interspersed with smaller, similarly shaped, very pale blue crystals. The 1" round clip-on earrings feature a cascade of same-sized, hand-wired, dark and pale faceted crystals. The necklace is marked ,Western Germany, and the clip earrings ,M. I. W. Germany". This tells us that the piece dates from 1949 to 1990, while the construction and the composition suggest that it is most likely from the 1950s.
