Vintage PEILL & PUTZLER Heavy, Medium-Sized, Art Glass Bowl | Etched Finish with Clear Raised Roundels | Excellent Condition
This is a stunning example of a mid-century-modern art lead glass piece from the German manufacturer, PEILL & PUTZLER.
The bowl is quite heavy for its size and features an etched or frosted finish to its exterior, while a series of clear, raised rondels encircle the outer rim. The base of the bowl is engraved with the back-to-back Ps that form the PEILL & PUTZLER logo.
The style of this piece suggests it dates to the 1960s or 70s, and it could be the work of designer Horst Tüsselmann.
