This stunning and eye-catching Goldette pendant necklace is based on the iconic style of the Navajo squash blossom necklace. It dates to the 1960s or 70s and is built around an upside-down, shiny silver-tone ,naja, (the Navajo word for crescent) that features a central faux turquoise stone.
Above the naja sits another turquoise stone, which connects to a triple-strand silver ball chain with six faux turquoise and silver blossoms on either side. The necklace fastens with a signed Goldette fold-over clasp that has squash blossom stems on either side of the closure.
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, showing less wear than one might expect from a piece of such age, however, this simply reflects the quality of vintage Goldette jewelry.
