This brown glazed Tiki mug, shaped like a Tiki carrying a crate of rum on its back, was produced in a limited edition by Tiki Farm in 2011 as a promotional item for Appleton Estates Jamaican Rum.
Its designer, Brad ,Tiki Shark, Parker, is a world-renowned Hawaiian-based artist who works in the pop-surrealistic style of the Lowbrow art movement.
Tiki Farm, based in San Clemente, California is the world's largest custom high-style ceramic Tiki mug manufacturer. it's estimated that between 250 and 300 Crate Bearer Tiki mugs were produced.
