Striking 1960s ARABIA Finland 24 cm Sunflower "Aurinkoruusu" Plate | Designed & Hand Painted by Hilkka-Liisa Ahola | Great Vintage Condition
Designed and hand-painted by Hilkka-Liisa Ahola, one of Arabia Finland,s most regarded designers, this 24 cm (~9.25") sunflower (or ,aurinkoruusu,) plate is a wonderful example of mid-century Finnish design at its finest.
Although more than 50 years old, it is in very good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, or repairs. However, there is a small white mark (see photo #5), which may have occurred during the firing of the piece. In addition, there is considerable age-related crazing on the back (see photo #7).
This will make a beautiful addition to any mid-century-themed interior.
