This rare and stunning set of iconic cobalt blue Kartio Iittala glasses was designed by Kaj Franck, while working for the remarkable Nuutajärvi Notsjö Glassworks, Finland. Franck is often referred to as 'the conscience of Finnish design'.
These Iittala glasses were produced between 1998 and 2004, after the merger between Iittala and Nuutajärvi. Despite their age, they are in almost pristine condition.
In 2011, Iittala introduced 'Kartio Thin' glasses to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Kaj Franck's birth.
