Mid-Century-Modern Schmid Kreglinger (Japan) ,Kelco, Coffee Pot, Creamer & Sugar Bowl with 6 Cups and Saucers | Designed by LaGardo Tackett
With its clean, timeless design and striking orange body with brown trim, this thoroughly modern six-person coffee service adds a bright and uplifting touch to your breakfast table. Likewise, this is the ideal set for a design firm, advertising agency, or architectural practice boardroom.
Produced in the 1960s in Japan by Schmid Kreglinger (part of Schmid International — a Massachusets-based importer and distributor of decorative wares), the set was designed by LaGardo Tackett (1911 - 1992), a Los Angeles ceramicist and designer, who taught at the California School of Art.
Tackett,s dinnerware line has been displayed in many international exhibitions and included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Ceramic Art in Gifu, Japan as well as the International Museum of Dinnerware Design in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
We love the bold colors and cylindrical lines, as well as the mid-century-modern aesthetic this stunning set embodies.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to its weight and volume, this set will be divided into two shipments.
