This beautiful and almost flawless mid-century, loop-handled, lidded stoneware casserole dish from Denby features the delicate 1950s ,White Rose, pattern and is just perfect for entertaining and fine dining.
Hand-made and hand-painted, the design is fluid and organic. Without the lid, it measures 20 cm (~10") across the top and stands 10 cm (~4") high, It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing.
Although Denby stoneware is ovenproof we would recommend this beautiful lidded casserole is used as a serving dish so it retains its clean and pristine condition. Handwashing is also preferred.
