Dating to the 1990s, this stunning, Kosta Boda tealight holder (or small bowl) is a wonderful example of the work of renowned Swedish glass artist, Anna Ehrner.
Part of her successful ,Atoll, series, it demonstrates her powerful design language and ability to achieve great color splendor through the sparse use of colors.
By candlelight, the deep-tinted veils inside the glass shimmer through hues of apple green and swirling white, adding extra interest to your table setting. (PLEASE NOTE: The actual color is best represented in the photographs taken against the wood surface — images #5 to #9)
The Kosta Boda tealights in the Atoll series also make great candy servers or salt cellars.
This piece is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. While there are a couple of very faint scratches on the upper lip, these are not really visible — only detectable when running your fingers across the surface.
It bears the original Kosta Boda sticker.
