Eye-Catching 30 cm (12") Flat Rimmed JERSEY POTTERY Serving Platter with Blue and Black Mussel (Mytilus Edulis) Design | Original Richard Bramble Illustration | Made in the Channel Islands
This delightful plate was made by Jersey Potter in the Channel Islands and features an illustration by artist and designer Richard Bramble, which is one of the works in Fruits de Mer collection.
Classified as a flat rimmed plate (meaning the rim rises gradually), it has a depth of 2.8cm (1 inch) and holds food with sauces well. You can also lay wide ingredients on the plate coming onto the rim, like fish or asparagus.
This plate is in pristine condition with no signs of wear or even utensil marks.

ABOUT RIGHARD BRAMBLE & JERSEY POTTERY
Jersey Pottery was set up in 1954 at Gorey Village, Jersey, Channel Islands and for more than 18 years promoted Richard Bramble licensed designs (including the Fruits de Mer and Farmyard ranges) to the retail trade.
An artist and designer, Richard Bramble commenced working with top Michelin starred chefs in the UK in 1995 to create a range of ingredient and wine paintings and handmade limited-edition prints. In 1998 Richard Bramble,s collaboration with the chefs led to the publication of ,The Star Chefs Cookbook,, incorporating his paintings and their famous signature dishes.
While Richard Bramble continues to create original designs for prints ceramics and textiles, his licensing agreement with Jersey Pottery ended in 2015. The pottery closed its doors in 2020.
