Early 20th Century American Sterling Silver Nut Bowl with Handle | Repousse Work and Piercing | MANCHESTER MANUFACTURING CO Mark 1904 – 1914
What a fabulous find! This beautiful early twentieth-century sterling silver nut bowl/bonbon or candy dish bears the hallmark used by the Manchester Silver Co. Of Providence, Rhode Island, from 1904 - 1914.
It features four sequences of pierced metalwork interspersed with repousse roses, with each of these sequences leading to a repousse footed bowl with fruits and leaves. The handle is decorated with a floral motif stamped onto a darker background.
In excellent vintage condition with only minor surface marks, this will make an elegant addition to your dining and entertaining.
