Mid-Century DENBY Pottery Two-Pint Round Lidded Casserole Dish | Delightful Rooster Flair Pattern | Albert Colledge Design | Excellent Condition
This is a fabulous round Denby Pottery , lidded casserole dish with handles in the Rooster Flair design. First launched in 1955, Denby Flair was produced until 1969.
The dish measures 13 cm (~5.1") to the top of the lid and 22 cm (~8.5") to the outer edge of the handles. In addition to the Denby Pottery stamp on the reverse, it is signed A. Colledge the creator of the Denby Flair pattern. (For more about Albert Colledge, see below.)
This beautiful mid-century piece is in very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, discoloration, or crazing — just the occasional scuff marks from utensils.
Denby Flair items in such good condition are becoming difficult to obtain.
