1960s Arzberg White Lidded Casserole Dish & Serving Platter | Platinum Edging | Excellent Condition
This lidded casserole dish and matching meat/serving platter were made by the renowned German porcelain manufacturer, Arzberg, in the 1960s.
Its mid-century-modern design lines are clean, sleek, and elegant. Each piece has a slightly textured rib feature — on the casserole, it's on the upper portion, while on the platter, it's on the two handles — and is finished with a platinum band.
The set is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips, repairs, or crazing — and very few signs of utensil marks. Some dulling of the platinum trim on the platter might be slightly dull, but it's hard to tell due to the reflectivity.
This elegant mid-century-modern Arzberg set will make a lovely addition to a formal dinner setting.
