This vintage Bendigo Pottery lidded casserole is stamped 'Australian Handmade Stoneware', and has the 'Bendigo Pottery Epsom' mark. It bears the initials of Noel Bailey (N.B.), who worked as a jolley hand between 1968 and 1973. ('Jolleying' is the process of shaping the inside of the clay form while the plaster mold shapes the outside.)
In excellent condition, with few signs of use, this lidded casserole has a capacity of 2.5 litres.
