Set of Six 1930s VICTORIA CHINA Side Plates | Gilt Edged Border of Flowers & Leaves | Made in Czechoslovakia | Very Good Condition
This delightful and rare set of six 'Victoria China' side plates was made in Czechoslovakia between 1918 and 1939.
The plates are 14.5 cm (~5.7") square with rounded/scalloped corners. With their predominantly blue and orange border of flowers and leaves, as well as a gilded edge, these plates will add color and class to your morning or afternoon table.
These side plates will work perfectly as a curated mismatched, set when combined with cups and saucers in a solid, complementary colour palette.
Apart from some slight surface wear, this set of side plates is in great condition, although one has a slightly lighter color than the others (see the bottom right-hand plate, photo #4).
These are quite a rare find.
