RARE FIND! 1920s/30s Miniature Black Amethyst Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay & Turquoise Cabochon | Intact Glass Dauber | Made in France

This delightful miniature perfume bottle, with its intact glass dauber, is not just a decorative item of collectible glass for your vanity table, but also a fabulous and functional conversation piece to slip into your purse.
Standing at just 3.5 cm high (~1.4”) and 2.5 cm (~1”) wide, the body of the bottle is made from black amethyst glass and encased in a pierced silver shield with a beautiful trellis and flower design, while the base of the bottle is marked ‘Made in France’.
The screw-on cap has a silver filigree covering topped with a turquoise glass cabochon, and when removed, is attached to the glass dauber that’s used for applying the perfume.
Other than some expected patina that comes with age, this wonderful miniature French perfume bottle is just exquisite.
