Impressive and decorative, this square, lidded bowl or jar was designed by Nils Thorsson in the 1960s for Royal Copenhagen.
It features Thorsson's sought-after, detailed, and complex relief ,Baca, pattern. In brown, ochre, and white this design is reminiscent of an ancient mosaic depicting abstract birds and flowers.
Apart from a 0.4 cm chip on the interior flange of the lid (see image #6), this stunning piece is in very good used condition with no other chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
Highly collectible.
